Requirements
- NQF Level 4 with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- 1 year’s experience in an administration/ logistics/ customer service environment
- South African Citizen
- Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB)
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and overtime where operational requirements demand
- Willingness to be deployed nationally to Customs operational environments, including land border posts in remote areas, airports, seaports and inland operational offices
- Willingness to undergo security screening, criminal record checks, qualification verification and integrity assessments
- Physically fit and able to work in an operational environment
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Age criteria: 18 – 35 years to specifically attract the youth
- Must have a basic overview of the Customs & Excise environment

- Apply and utilise systems in a manner that ensures accurate processing of information that contributes to efficient and effective completion of tasks
- Assist with administrative tasks within the relevant division
- Attend to information requests received and send them to the relevant department to source information.
- Communicate transactional outputs and queries in the area of work
- Deliver on contracted performance objectives according to set procedures and agreed service level agreements

- Ensure quality of work content, minimise mistakes and continuously improve quality and standards
