Job Objectives
- Execute all point-of-sale operations efficiently and quickly
- Maintain high accuracy when scanning products and processing payments, including activating Clix Club Card rewards
- Ensure secure cash handling at all times
- Effectively promote the Clix Club Card and attract new members to achieve participation targets
- Inform customers of promotional offers to increase sales, ensure their satisfaction, and save them money
- Provide exceptional customer service through brand representation, active presence, and a friendly, professional approach
- Execute all product display and general hygiene tasks efficiently, adhering to store and product display standards
- Support the group’s vision of being the first choice for customers in the health and beauty sector by embodying and working towards achieving the company’s values
- Stay up-to-date on products, collections, offers, and events to always provide customers with accurate information
Minimum requirements
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
Experience:
- Desirable: experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
Knowledge:
- Basic maths calculations
- Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
- Understanding of stock management procedures
- Knowledge of customer service excellence
