Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 plus an N6 certificate or NCV Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building/Construction, Property/Operations Management, Office Administration, or a related field

Key responsibilities

  • Collect, capture, collate, analyse and present Facilities-related operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Assist with the administration and operation of Facilities systems, including access control, CCTV monitoring, maintenance/helpdesk systems, finance and procurement portals, and other relevant platforms
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of Facilities projects, office moves, space changes and other building-related initiatives
  • Assist with physical inspections and maintenance activities across the building, including identifying and reporting issues relating to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general building maintenance and office infrastructure
  • Assist with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, including inspections, documentation, incident reporting, compliance records and corrective actions
  • Liaise with internal clients, contractors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, services and Facilities-related requests
  • Assist with obtaining and comparing supplier quotations, creating purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders in accordance with company processes
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs, checklists, registers, compliance records and other Facilities documentation, while participating in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
